Description
- To establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies and principles.
- Periodic statutory Compliances viz.TDS Return, GST Return.
- Income Tax Return & Profession Tax Return etc.
- Responsible for all direct and indirect taxation viz. Income Tax, TDS, GST etc.
- Statutory audit & Income Tax Audit.
- Preparing quarterly and annual financials.
- MIS preparations as per requirement.
- Scrutiny of all ledgers.
- Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions.
- Support internal, statutory & taxation audits.
- Support Monthly Closing.
- Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and meet deadlines required.
- Direct and coordinate company-level financial planning and budget management functions.
- Monitor benchmarks for measuring the financial and operating performance.
- Monitor and analyse monthly operating results against budget.
- Manage the preparation of financial forecasts when required
- To maintain good relationships with external bodies like banks, regulators, auditors and external consultants for the smooth functioning of the finance department (if required)
- To provide direction, motivation and training to the finance team, thus ensuring optimum performance.
